First off, we want to wish all our family and friends a happy and safe holiday weekend!!! We had kind of a quiet day, and just hung out at home. But we did do some holiday activities! First up, Austin wanted lemonade. Don't get me wrong, he likes lemonade, but to actually ask for it was unusual for him. So, off to the kitchen to make lemonade! Although I was informed that I need lemons and honey, not country time mix to make it. :)
YUM
After lemonade, we need cookies! And what's Independence day without flag cookies?!
Gotta put them on the cookie sheet.
All ready to go!!
And finally, we can eat them!

After we got done with our sparklers, we had a short wait till the real fireworks! Although we didn't leave the house! The state park down the road has a fireworks show each year, and we hoped we were close enough to see and we were!! Although it was a small, short show, we had fun watching them from the back porch.
