After finishing up at the aquarium, we headed outside to check out the rest of the area. We were given a small map with a nature trail that we could walk, so that's where we headed!
Such a beautiful day!
At the beginning of the trail, was a very nice boardwalk and dock where we could walk out over the marsh.
Austin thought being able to see the crabs in the mud was awesome.

The sun was really bright!
Shelby figured out she could look thru the cracks in the boards!
After playing in the sun, it was time for a drink and snack break in the shade!
Although there was short walk and a long walk, we decided to save the long one for another day and just do the short one so we could see the 300 year old tree. That was a HUGE tree!
The entire area was really pretty!
After our walk, we headed back indoors for another look around (and to cool off a little!) And of course, Mom had to take more pictures!
