Today is 2 dollar day at the zoo! Who can resist that price? Austin had swim lessons this morning, but after we were done, it was time to head to Granny's to pick up her and Madison so we could visit the zoo! Our main objective for the day? See the Dinosaurs! Although the parking lot was packed, (and it was super hot!) we managed to avoid most of the crowds as we headed straight to Dino Trek and had a great afternoon!

Austin wouldn't take a picture with T Rex, but Maddie did, even if she didn't smile. :)
After Dino Trek, it was time to visit the Butterflies. This is a cute exhibit, but there weren't many butterflies out today.

The carousel is always a must do for Austin.
Before calling it a day, we headed back to tour the Dinos one last time. Austin decided he'd be brave and pet one. :)
Time to head home....and back into some a/c!
