It's finally Christmas Eve! Time to get our last minute stuff done so we are ready for Santa to visit tonight! First up, Reindeer food!
After mixing up a sweet treat for Santa's reindeer, it was time to make cookies for Santa. Although Austin started out helping me get the cookies going, he abandoned ship after the first batch. He didn't mind doing 'quality assurance checks' though!
After baking cookies and cleaning up the kitchen it was time for our Christmas Eve festivities! Austin looks forward to hanging out with Mammaw and ordering pizza. This year he was a bit impatient to get to the gift part of our evening, as he had spied this large box when they came in!
After finally being allowed to tear into this box, Austin found this hand made Minecraft blanket! He LOVES it!

After all the food and fun, we headed out to look at Christmas lights. Although we saw some really pretty ones, it seems all the rain we've had in the last week has not only affected our lights and shorted some of them out, but others in the county as well.
After lights, it was time for jammies, feeding reindeer, putting out Santa's goodies and finally hanging the magic key outside for Santa. We've got to get to bed so Santa can visit!
