Austin was super excited to go to school today. And who wouldn't be? It was the annual kindergarten trip to Tybee Island! Yes, we took 80+ kindergartners to the beach....no, we didn't lose any! The kids (and parents) had a great time! The kids were very well behaved, and although I'm a bit partial, the red shirts (Austin's class) were a bit better behaved than the others. We even got complemented on how well behaved they were from a random beach go-er!
After arriving, and getting everyone situated, it was time to head to the water! The teachers and parents formed a 'wall' in the shallows and all the kids played in the small waves in front. It was truly a great day!
After playing in the water a while, we all headed back up the beach to play in the sand too!
Although you wouldn't tell from some of my pictures, Austin had a GREAT time! Here's one last pic, taken while he was patiently waiting for lunch, just to show how un-cooperative he was with Mom's camera today!
