After taking the scenic route home from the park, to allow Austin a little more nap time - we knew once the truck stopped he wouldn't go back to sleep - we decided it was such a nice day, let's go fishing! So we headed down to the pond.
After a while, Dad had caught one 'keeper' but Mom and Austin weren't having any luck, so we decided to head back to the house and let Dad have some quiet fishing time. Austin decided to cruise since we had taken the wagon.
Once home, it was time for
croquet, Austin style.

When Dad headed home, Austin had to run out and see if he caught any more 'keepers'. He did, by the way, so the afternoon produced two more fish in the freezer.
